it happens
Hi,
Sometimes research life follows Murphy's law. And today was one of those days:
So remember to do your backups. And if you haven’t, because you assumed it was a more than unlikely thing to happen or because the place you stored your stuff in was supposed to be a very, very safe place, well, you can worry for some time, imagining your data and scripts disappearing from the surface of planet Earth like some kind of magical dust. But at least worry knowing that you’re not the only person in the universe who has faced a fate like this.
Btw, Mum, I’m fine. I ate some Lindt chocolate balls that somehow survived Easter and went to the lab to watch chicks hatching:
And for days like these, someone created the package cowsay. It won’t bring your data back, but maybe it will make you feel 1% better:
say("WHY???", "chicken")
Ciao,
Aga
PS: Here is the survey in which you can tell me what R topic you find particularly confusing and why you want to learn it, so that we can shape this space together!
